Back in April 1981, Chuck Robinson took us on a tour of the Torker factory in Fullerton, California. That visit marked the beginning of my role as the U.S. importer for the brand. At the time, the complete bike lineup included the Torkflyte and Maxflyte models, which were available in Candy Blue, Candy Red, Black, or Chrome.

Torker LP Race Bike – Black & Gold Retro BMX

The Torker LP Race  Bike brings the classic Torker Maxflyte style into a modern rideable BMX. Built with the new LP Race frameset, this bike preserves the twin top tube and round-hole gusset aesthetic while adding modern performance features. Ride a vintage-inspired BMX that handles like a contemporary freestyle bike.

The frame is made of seamless 4130 chromoly tubing with a traditional dual top tube race frame, Euro BB shell, and double-thick laser-cut dropouts. It includes a modern chainstay brace, integrated Campy® headtube, 3/8″ front and rear dropouts, and a 1 1/8″ clamp-on threadless fork for precise steering.
